After marking the chine edge on the form (previous step) remove the side panel. It should look something like this. Now cut to the line with a skillsaw set roughly to 22.5 degrees, so the marked side is the high side of the resulting (slanted) cut. This will roughly match the angle between the sides and bottom of the boat.
