Fred told me Al tied these hoppers with the two red legs
like this, because Tom Morgan wanted them tied that way.
Tom was one of the first guys to buy flies from Al,
after he moved to Dillon from Pennsylvania.

If Tom thought it was important, I would too.
In fact I do. With no if about it.
