Jack Roses Bastard
Jack Rose's Bastard - Merton Parks designed this fly with Jack Rose, a local angler c.1955. Jack wanted a midge pattern for the "Snow Fly" hatches of late winter and early spring on the Yellowstone. Jack liked the fish's response but admitted that "the little bastard is hard to see."
