To fish this fly, attach the tippet to
the hook. Then tie a loose surgeon's loop
in the tippet, a few inches in front of
the fly. Then pull the front end of the foam
body into the loose surgeon's loop and
tighten it up. This keeps the floppy
body from folding back when you strip the fly.
Cast in front of the moving fish.
Wait, wait, wait, strip fast, strip slow,
wait, striiiip, striiip, wait,
twitch, set set set!
You gottim!
Doctor Flies are soft, so bonefish don't
spit them out right away. They will chew
on these flies for several very long seconds
before letting go.
