Make the Lathe
Two vices: one of which has to be rotary
6-8" of thin diameter stainless steel wire
One swivel

Place the two vices the length of the wire apart,
facing eachother.
Bend a hook into one end end of the wire.
Put the swivel into the not-rotary vice.
Mount the wire so it hooks into the swivel
at one end, with the tag end of the wire protruding
behind the jaws of the rotary vice.
