Most builders don't use the cad files. I offer them
as a freebee for those (engineers, architects, students)
who have access to a plotter. You can download the
(dxf format) files to a floppy disk. And you can pay
to have them plotted at an enginnering service. But
that will end up costing $20 + approximately $25 for the
plotting. At that point you should just buy the paper
plans from me. The paper plans are hand drawn and more
complete anyway. If you have a plotter, then the dxf
files cost you nothing.
The great majority of all of my customers who have built
completed boats....use the online plans, but not
the cad files. They're there if you want them.
But they are not necessary.
