1/2 Plascore Scored

I am about ready to start building a Kingfisher and already have questions. I live in the N. Georgia mountains and finding the right materials requires several tanks of gas.
I contacted "Composite One" and less then 3 hours away I can get scored 1/2" Plascore at a great price. Contacted Jason Cajune, (which hate to bother him) and he mention that it would be to thin and would use to much composites. I just sent him another email that I can also get 3/4" standard sheets, would this be a problem since the plans call for 1/2". Or should I get int the truck and head to Florida and get standard 1/2 Plascore? Thoughts

You made the right choice. I'm using 1/2" myself and seems to be fine, but Sandy and others have discussed the merits of thicker plascore. Exponentially stiffer, insignificantly heavier.
