A couple small bumps, but made it out in one piece!

Fished/rowed Conner's flats landing to McMasters bridge on Michigan's AuSable. You can Google maps the route. Slow water but lots of hairpin turns stacked on top of each other.

Alot harder than I thought. The guides mentioned learning how to feather.

So.............you adapted this little boat from the decked Dayak plans no? Looks like a fun little boat.

Sandy, I used the buffalo boat plans.

Changes I made: 4.5" dish dead center, more side flair, widened the transoms, it's 12'3" bow to stern so alittle longer than BB. Side panels were just a 8x4 sheet of plascore sliced length wise with the dish in the center, so the rear of the side panel is a bit wider and the front is a bit thinner than the BB.

Gotta have someone that knows what they're doing put it through its paces, curious about an experienced persons thoughts.

I was able to back row upstream in current, one good oar stroke and it'll spin pretty good, drafts 4" of water with my girlfriend and me in there. Need lots more rowing practice.
