I have been watching your Jellistones with envy, have not gotten to tie a few yet but I will. I want to try mayfly nymph version. thread some hackle fibers for cercae. we will see.

Keep me posted. I've experimented with bass tube small nymphs a bit. It's harder to accomplish. You will need to use flat, not woven thread of some kind, so it doesn't cut into the bass tube stuff. And dimple gently.

Wrap a hook tightly with thread. That attach body loosely to the wrapped shank and use glue to make the permanent attachment. ZapAGap, UV glue or water based fabric cement.
