How much do you need? I have two sheets plus a half in Pocatelloby GregMc - Drift Boat Building
I'm in Pocatello and bought some about 18 months ago. I bought 5 sheets and it cost me about $100 a sheet shipped. I built a new boat using plascore for the bottom only. I still have two and a half sheets in my barn that I would sell if you need it. My recommendation is that you use 1/4 ply for the sides. You can get a concrete one to weigh 20 lbs, but it's pretty good sized at that weight. The size seems to help a bit with "grab" on some freestone rivers. Ultimately, I gave up on them and went back to steel.by GregMc - Drift Boat Building
I've experimented with pyramid-shaped concrete anchors. They work well and are very cheap, but they only last season or two. Adding hardware cloth or chicken wire makes them last a bit better.by GregMc - Drift Boat Building
Mischievous – I'm unaware of a plascore supplier in SLC, but would love to hear about it if you know of one. I go to SLC regularly RK - Poky is shorthand for Pocatelloby GregMc - Drift Boat Building
Josh, I'm building a skiff, 60 wide and 16 long. I think I want a couple extra sheets to do seat boxes and raised level floors. I have a smaller wooden skiff now, but I'm interested in building a lower maintenance boat. Plascore bottom and sides, maybe with trex gunnels.by GregMc - Drift Boat Building
Anyone building a boat this summer and ordering plascore? I'm thinking about a build and potentially interested in 6 sheets of 1/2 or 3/4 plascore. I'm in Idaho, pretty central to SLC, Bozeman and Boise.by GregMc - Drift Boat Building
